Al Gold’s Race Horses Continue to Win and Educate the World About CyberKnife Technology

by | May 20, 2026 | Race Horses Educate The World About CyberKnife Technology

Remember Al Gold whose dream came true in 2022 when his race horse CyberKnife, named after the medical procedure that saved his life when he was battling prostate cancer, won the Haskell Stakes?

Well last week his race horse, Napoleon Solo won the Preakness Stakes by a stuning 1 1/4 lengths.

Alan says, “It was a very big moment that I just can’t put into words.”

Given his age and medical history, Al says winning is sweet, especially having his longtime friends at his side.

Al says, “We’re all older, and we had the opportunity to win this race and we took a shot. We said if we lose, we’re going to the Amsterdam stakes, but now we’re going to the Haskell Stakes again.”

As for Cyberknife, soon after winning the Haskell he became a stud horse and has since sired numerous offspring that are selling at near or over a million dollars.

All of us at CyberKnife Miami wish Al the best of luck and continued good health.

Al Gold chose the CyberKnife System to treat his prostate cancer because he wanted a cure that eliminated the disease without disrupting his daily routine or requiring invasive surgery.

He was treated with the non-invasive, pain-free regimen consisting of just five therapy sessions.

He selected this robotic radiation system for several key reasons:

Minimal Lifestyle Disruption: Unlike surgery or traditional radiation therapy, which can require lengthy hospital stays or up to 45 daily sessions, his CyberKnife treatment was completed in only five short outpatient appointments.

Ultra-Precision: The system’s robotic arm utilizes #artificialintelligence and continuous real-time imaging to track the prostate’s exact position. It delivers concentrated beams of radiation with sub-millimeter accuracy, sparing healthy surrounding tissue from unnecessary damage.

Completely Non-Invasive: The procedure does not require surgical incisions, anesthesia, or a recovery period.

Gold was so grateful for his positive results and remission that he named one of his most promising racehorses “Cyberknife” to help raise awareness about the technology.
