Don first went to a urologist because of kidney stones and while there his doctor suggested he get a PSA test for prostate cancer since he’d never had one.

“The majority recommended surgery. They said it was the best way to treat it at a young age. But I didn’t like the risk factors including damage to other organs, impotence, and incontinence,” said Don.
Although all of the surgeons’ Don spoke to assured him those things wouldn’t happen, Don wasn’t convinced. He knew of men experiencing such side effects after prostate surgery.
